Fatal Error with ISO?

Jan 5, 2010 at 3:36 AM

Hello, my name is Khaos4ng31, but you can refer to me as Khaos. Now my question today is,

Is it possible to downlaod Wii Isos and transfer them into my external HDD?

If so, my next question is, how come I get a fatal error when transferring?

I have been using WBFS manager quite some time, but decided to try to downlaod isos and see if that works. All other games work, and this is the first Downloaded Iso.

Here is the log.

Need more info. What version WBFS manager, was HDD ever fully reformatted to NTFS, Fat32, Fat? Is HDD partitioned? etc.

Version : 3.0

HDD formatted to WBFS, as a huge partition. It's 99.5 GB of 100 GB. It's brand new, and I never formatted it to anything besides WBFS.

It Works Fine connected to Wii, and Is able to transfer backup isos i've burned from original disks to the PC, but I've downloaded an ISO to try and see if it works, and it gave me an error.

I'm also using 32-bit Windows Vista, as administrator.

If you need more information, feel free to ask.

I would say your problem is because you didn't format the drive to NTFS or FAT32 before WBFS. New drives have security software built it that has to be removed with a normal format first and then WBFS. Try it and I'm sure your problems will go away. You also didn't mention the HDD manuyfacturer ie: WD, Seagate, Samsung etc. Some drives just don't work as well as others. I have a Seagate 320gig which works just fine and I"ve read that WD drives are the Cat's _ss too.

WEll, the problem is, that I have. Otherwise, the backups on my PC would not be transferable onto the HDD. My HDD is from iomega. I tried it. Still get the same error Unfortunately. I can try to redownload it, if the problem is missing kilobytes.

Well sorry I can't help ya. Can't see a problem with the game if it downloaded without any problems and unrared okay, unless it was a one piece download. Was this a torrent download or a direct from Megaupload, Rapidshare or some other depository? I would just do like you say and re down it. If that still don't work, go to some of the Wii game download sites and ask around there. Can't find better answers than from other users and downloaders. Good luck with it.
