Wii doesn't see the full size of the external harddrive

When I plug my 1T External Harddrive into my Wii, and format with WBFS (via the Wii) .. My Wii says I only have 137 Gb's, it doesn't see the full 1000 gb's.

Anyone have this problem ?

No, but can you tell me if you find the solution?

Did you use windows to format the drive into FAT32 before formatting the drive with WBFS Manager? If so, that is a limitation of windows fat32 system. You can use fat32format.exe from this site: http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?fat32format.htm in orrder to get around that limitation. Post back if this helps.

I was finally able to get the wbfs software to see the drive, and was able to format it.  Cloning a drive now, fingers crossed that it works.

FYI .. I found it much easier to work with XP & wbfs software, then trying the software with Windows 7 ( I have two Pc's)
