Wii can read my HDD but my computer doesn't

Dec 19, 2009 at 8:01 PM

I have 26 games on my 250 go HDD. I can playing it perfectly but i cannot add another games anymore. I tried my HDD on another computer with WFS manager, same thing. I don't want to reformat again, and lost all my games. Anyone can tell me what's the problem?

Could it be a problem with vista (i saw some discusions in other forums)

I found my problem. I had 2 partitions on my HDD. For my 250 go, i had 1 partition WBFS of 240 go and 1 FAT32 partition for the covers and the settings. I found that WBFS manager and other programs doesn't like 2 partitions on the same HDD. I re-formatted my HDD for 1 partition WBFS and no problems anymore. I'm not under Vista, i'm an old Windowx XP user ;)

usually you are using only 1 partition for prevent confusion to the user. But if you are good, format the drive partition it have WBFS as primary and the other partition for something else.. :)
