I was recommended WBFS because I wanted to get in to loading via USB. I was told it would compress my games, now I've seen others have games 1gb and well under around 200-300mb range. I can not seem to get my games much below 3-4gb. Is there something I need to be doing to compress even more?

It will depend on the game as to what size it ends up after compression. Some end up smaller that others.

On average you will see a 50% reduction. I base this on a 1TB disk which is full.

Ok so it would be normal for some games to only drop maybe 500mb from original? The two games I've done so far is Deadly Creatures (went from 4.3GB-3.68GB) and Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 (went from 4.4GB-3.92GB). Guess I'll be skipping that 320GB HDD might as well save a little more and for the 2TB. Also you might know the answer to this. I got a new 4GB SDHC I used to use a 2GB non-HC(now used for BootMii), my question is is there a conflict with SDHC and Gecko OS or Ocarina? After loading IOS 249 I can not seem to get the cheats from Ocarina to work any more. I don't know if it's the SDHC or IOS.

Yes thats normal I have games as small as 200MB and others that are 4.2GB.

I might be wrong here but I was under the impression that the maxium supported SD card size was 2GB. This could have changed but its worth looking at.
