Can WBFS formatted USB disk be recovered?

Jun 6, 2009 at 2:59 AM

Hi

Last night I chose a wrong USB disk to be formatted to WBFS, unfortunately, that was a disk I am using

for Windows files. Can anyone tell me how to recover - I mean is it possible to do a recovery process?

I am using a Acer laptop Windows XP SP2 installed.

Many thanks in advance

The same happened, I wanted to try something with a usb, and formatted it, but I forgot to move the files that it had inside. I used the program Recuva (you can find it here http://www.recuva.com/ ), it recovers (or tries to) deleted files from your pc and external hard drives. When you install it, just select where were the files before you deleted them. It recovered almost all files from my usb (most of them office docs)

Many thanks~

I am using R-Studio to recover files. Frankly speaking, I was thinking of  kind of methods that could make the WEBS formatted disk back to Windows NTFS format. Well, it seems I was a bit naive.

Thanks again
